Hello! - 2008/10/13 05:38 Hi all,

I'm a newbie. Long time coffee lover but now I've started to get serious!
I've just bought myself a Bellman style coffee pot and was wanting a few pointers....
What do I do with the reducer??!! The strength and flavour of the coffee seem to be the same with or without it. Does it have some higher purpose that I'm missing?
Nice to meet you all,
Kate.

Re:Hello! - 2008/10/13 06:31 I have the identical unit you do -- and without a gas stove to use it on, I am at a bit of a loss with it as well - The reducer. That is for using slightly less coffee if you are making one serving, yes?

The best tutorial on the Bellman is over here on Fantes.com - arguably the best kitchen website in America.
