roastings workshops in b.c.? - 2006/05/04 09:25 Hi,
I'm interested if anyone knows of any coffee roasting workshops in B.C.? I'm interested in learning the trade and the only training courses I can find are in the states. Or if you know any roasters that are open to apprenticeships? Thanks for the help!

Re:roastings workshops in b.c.? - 2006/05/04 09:46 That is an excellent question.

A question, by the way, that I get a lot.

The closest roaster workshops, to us, at
at Deidrich in Sand Point Idaho -- near
Spokane, WA.

If you are in Victoria, you can most certainly
hang out at Discovery Coffee on Discovery Street
or Cafe Fantastico on Kings Street near
Quadra and watch the roasters work.

Nothing like watching.
