RFA Nicaraguan!! - 2006/07/24 18:38 My wife, Debbie, is pretty insistant that we buy Fair Trade coffee. Last Thur it was time to buy beans again, so off to the Java Blend, In Halifax.

If Jim's working the counter I usually let him suggest the bean, as long as it meets Deb's criteria, and a medium roast because we drink it black.

"Try this", he said, "It's not fair trade, but it a Nicaraguan coffee, certified by the Rain Forest Alliance. You'll like it, I just roasted it today." And then briefly described the RFA.

Ah...what a cup of fabulous coffee, Friday morning and every morning since. So good, in fact, that Deb brewed a pot this afternoon; unusal, because she's a tea drinker.

Thanks Jim - this one's a winner.

Cheers to all - Miles
