MDF Grinder - 2006/10/20 12:21 Hi
I just did this in the guestbook by mistake. Sorry.
My MDF grinder is 1.5 years old. #4 setting gave me the perfect extraction when new. 6 months later I had to go to #3 and last month I had to move to #2 setting. Are my burs going on me or is there something loose inside which I can operate on. Thanks for any assistance.

Re:MDF Grinder - 2006/10/20 13:03 You beat me to the punch! Yea.
This could be more of a calibration issue or an issue of wear on the burr tracks and not the burrs themselves.

1.5 years is young for an MDF --

do not loose sleep on this issue.

I will also e-mail Reg James at EspressoTec on this issue.

Re:MDF Grinder - 2006/10/23 09:38 Hi Colin

Thanks for the reply. I think I will tear it down and take a look at it. My spring for the doser handle has broken from wear so I will replace that while I am inside. I just zeroed in my Macap. Does the MDF have a similiar procedure? Can this be done without having to take the bottom off? If the bottom has to come off to do it I will do while I have it all disassembled. Thanks for any info.

Re:MDF Grinder - 2006/10/23 13:14 I do not know what the CAL procedure (if any) there is for the MDF -

a quick e-mail to sales@espressotec.com would generate some results.
