Ever spend much time on EBay?

What an object is worth is largely determined between the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction.

There are so many tamper options out there friend.

I have seen RB knock-offs from China for 20$.
They are out there. That is what GOOGLE is for.

Re:buy Reg barber near montreal - 2007/01/22 14:05 I've been looking online for tampers last week. While it's cheaper in the States, the shipping charge is high. Online retailers charge EXTRA for shipping to Canada. Covert to CDN$, there really isn't much savings.

It's hard to find 53mm tampers on eBay.

My conclusion is that I am going back to EspressoTec to get a tamper. Their prices aren't bad. Stainless RB with wood handle are around $60. They have an all stainless steel one (not Reg Barber). It's heavy and it costs less than $40.

Re:buy Reg barber near montreal - 2007/01/22 14:17 http://www.greatinfusions.com has similar tamper in 53mm. It's on sale for $20 but shipping is high around $15 to BC. Tmplo is a Vancouver area resident and coffee expert

Sorry - did not mean to be off putting...
but I get hammered with e-mail daily from people who do not seem to have the energy or sense for even looking on this site for stuff -- they like spoon feeding.

A warning: Please watch your LONG URLs you deposit in the forum - it tears the site template apart.
