Re:Toshiba My Cafe - Missing Mystery Piece - 2006/11/02 02:15Hello, I've had a Toshiba "My Cafe" packed away for several years. After reading what people have said in you forum. I decided to take out my machine and see if it still worked, and yes it still works perfectly. I have made several pots of coffee in it since I took it out of the box, and it still makes a delicious cup of coffee. I have the owners manual and an extra brew basket. I don't need this coffee maker, as I have an espresso machine and another mill and brew. If anyone is interested in this machine, please let me know. I hope this is OK to put in this forum? Dan

Re:Toshiba My Cafe - Missing Mystery Piece - 2006/11/02 09:17Sure is OK -- that there is a functioning Toshiba MyCafe out there is astounding and I am sure there is a quick market for it.
How much do you want for it? Maybe it should be on Ebay.

Re:Toshiba My Cafe - Missing Mystery Piece - 2006/12/04 16:46I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A TOSHIBA MY CAFE THAT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION IF ONE IS AVAILABLE.
RE: TORN BASKETS DON'T THROW IT AWAY. PLASTIC WATERPROOF GLUE WILL SEAL THE SCREEN TO THE BASKET. I HAVE DONE IT. IT WORKS. AFTER 20 YEARS THE "LID" SEEMS TO HAVE AN ELECTRONIC PART MALFUNCTIONTHAT READS "LID" AND WON'T START. IF I DON'T FIND THE MACHINE I MAY BE ABLE TO PART WITH THE PARTS> I ENDED UP BUYING A DELONGHI CARAFE.
HAS ANYONE TRIED THE MELLITA BREW & MILL?
SANYO IS NOT A BREW AND MILL BUT DOES GRIND BEANS; BUT THEN NEED TO TRANSFER GROUNDS INTO BASKET FOR BREWING.

Toshiba Parts HCD-850 - 2007/01/14 09:18Hello All.
I was also a big fan of the Toshiba HCD-850. I had two of them over the years. My last machine died and I didn't throw it away. I have parts from it, plus a bunch of spare parts since my cousin worked for Toshiba. Carafes, grind baskets, baskets lids, etc. Email me at ksorce@hotmail.com if interested in parts.

Do tell - What do you have in the way of supplies and what are you charging for them?
I am asking because it is such a hot commodity.Colin is the Senior editor and creator of the CoffeeCrew.Com Website
