Re:The Saeco Talea - One ring to brew them all - - 2007/12/30 05:30 Im afraid accessing the sub-menu's is strictly for the Saeco Service guys.

Re:The Saeco Talea - One ring to brew them all - - 2007/12/30 14:05 That might be so... but how do they get there?

I recall tunneling down quite far in the Saeco menu's and I could mess with all kinds of stuff -

I simply cannot remember how I did it.
I guess the techs have a good reason for not sharing this control sequence.

Re:The Saeco Talea - One ring to brew them all - - 2008/02/19 02:39 Hi

I just want to mention that If the new Saeco Line may be technically impressive, it seems that have HUGE reliability problems.

I have been visiting 2 resellers here in Switzerland last saturday.
- the first one told me, despite the fact he was selling the Saeco, he didn't dare to recommend it because ALL sold units came back due to defects.
- the next one, which is one of the biggest specialised resellers in the country, have stopped selling them (excepted the good old Saeco Royal Office) due to excessive defect rates...
I talked with the manager of the local representative (who is a friend) and he mentioned that BOSCH (B30, B70)
had countrywide low defects rate (calculated within their company) and in his opinion the best coffee quality (he is also selling Jura).

Thanks for the feedback. I have never been a big fan of the one button does all machine - but they have lots of fans.
