Re:Best Cafes by Canadian Cities - 2007/12/12 19:05 Thanks Cameron! When I come to Toronto in June, you and I should meet-up. Coffee is on me! Colin is the Senior editor and creator of the CoffeeCrew.Com Website

Re:Best Cafes by Canadian Cities - 2008/01/10 20:38 I'm a big fan of 'b espresso bar'. Doesn't get much mention but the espresso is fantastic IMO. Located on Queen and Jarvis and difficult to find if you're not specifically looking for it. But worth the search IMO. The staff there are fantastic as well.

Re:Best Cafes by Canadian Cities - 2008/01/10 20:40 Thanks for the tip Troll:

I will be doing the full Toronto, Ontario tour in mid-June.

We should coordinate a Toronto walk-about. I will post dates as soon as possible;

One or Two days, many cafes and lunch too!

Should be fun.

Re:Best Cafes by Canadian Cities - 2008/01/10 20:54 We are making a stop at the Niagara Falls for a conference - arguably the location of some of the worse coffee in Canada, most tacky... well, everything and the only place where you will find a Best Western with green colored rooms with carpet and mirrors on the ceiling. Their lunch is fantastic, and reasonably priced. Everything is home-made and prepared before your eyes.

As for Niagara.... ugh! I can't stand the place and avoid it like the plague. They definately ruined it with the cheap touristy feel it's got now.

Re:Best Cafes by Canadian Cities - 2008/01/10 21:57 Unfortunately, I did not decide where the national conference was going to be...
So I have to put up with the tourist trash and spotty punters dotting the landscape, the smell of popcorn and cheap cologne at every step.
Niagara Falls: Could I hate you any more?
Ottawa was pretty bad when I was there last - apparently their coffee scene has improved somewhat.
