microroaster? - 2006/08/23 12:48 I was on a site and read that they sell "micro-roasted" coffee. They claim that they sell coffee that is roasted to order and shipped the same day. Is that normal??

Re:microroaster? - 2006/08/23 15:53 call me paranoid -- but I bet a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts that you are actually posting the URL to your coffee company to draw attention to it.

Sorry dude, but I have seen it all.

Re:microroaster? - 2006/08/24 13:38 Thanks Zaz -

There are lots of upstart "Coffee Bean" sellers online which claim to fresh roast daily and ship.

I encountered one such culprit located in the Rockies that out-sourced his roasting to some company in Florida. He never as much as saw the coffee or the roaster... much less knew what he was selling.

He pretty much ran the business from remote control.

Anyway - my point is: There are some fabulous online vendors of coffee, Batdorf and Bronson being one of the nations best. I can say that because I have had some of their bean mailed to me.

Without doubt, the best mailorder coffee I have ever had in my life!
