Faema Compact part help - 2006/12/14 08:55 Does anyone know what that plastic piece that is
jammed in the lower hole on the back side of my group head is (see picture)?

I can't find that one in any of the coffee parts shops...

Any help appreciated.

Re:Faema Compact part help - 2006/12/14 14:09 I pried out the mystery piece, took a picture and uploaded it here.

It is not plastic, it's probably copper, I turned it the other way and put it back in, now it seems to fit like it should - see picture.

I guess it some sort of adapter that the copper pipe goes into, someone did not pay attention to it when the pipe was mounted the last time I guess.

Now I must find a store that sell those...mine is a bit damaged.

Re:Faema Compact part help - 2006/12/16 06:57 The part LOOKS like a flow control orifice but I have no knowledge about this specific machine.

However, this link provides an excellent pictorial and write-up of a Faema Compact S rebuild:

If, for some reason the link does not work, the author was jimoncaffeine and you can search their site for his posts. It was a three part post.

Re:Faema Compact part help - 2006/12/17 01:17 That machine looks a lot like mine, I'll take a look at the other parts of his rebuild - great stuff.
Thanks.
