Vtech 1000 - 2008/06/10 17:54 I read with interest and much appreciation the review of the Vtech 1000. I am looking to purchase a machine around the $1000.00 range and was initially interested in the Silvia but thought I'd purchase something a little better.

Unfortunately there is not too much out their that appears to be a "little" $$$$ bit better. I like the idea of using the steam and the brew without any waiting.

Anyway my question; does anyone know who manufacturer's the Vtech? I looked at it at Espressotec and it appears that Vtech are a new company and I'm not too interested in purchasing something of this quality that I might not be able to get any parts for in the future. I have tried researching them on the web but to no avail.

Thanks to all

P.S. This will be my second machine....still nursing my Gran Gaggia along!
