simple part needed - 2005/05/25 17:01 Hello all,
I have a simple yet very effective espresso machine by Braun, it is a steam type, made in Switzerland (type 3 058) I have used this machine faithfully for about 8 years and it has become an important part of my life.

Here is the problem and I hope someone can help me! Yesterday, whilst cleaning up, I was emptying the grinds from the basket and I suspect it dropped into the bin... Today I realized that the basket was missing and I need to find a replacement as it seems ridiculous to have to buy a new machine! I have been searching for replacement parts and only seem to find stuff for all the high-end machines. I am in Ottawa and travel to Toronto often, so if anyone knows where I could get a replacement basket I will be forever greatful and nary have the need to go to Starbucks!

Thanks in advance,
Tony Gray

Re:simple part needed - 2005/05/25 21:35 Hey Tony - sorry about your loss -

I have neen perusing the Braun canadian
and american homepage and there
is ZERO parts support for anything
espresso.
I looked at Nelson appliance in Colorado
which is, bar none, one of the best parts
supplier for odd stuff..

You might try
  • http://www.smallappliance.com

  • they do have some odd parts.
