Solis 70 vs Saeco Aroma - 2007/01/04 08:20 Hi,

We are in the process of deciding which espresso machine to purchase. In your opinion, which machine is the better option: the Saeco Aroma or the Solis Crema SL70? Any help pointing us in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks

Re:Solis 70 vs Saeco Aroma - 2007/01/04 09:31 I think I answered your e-mail this AM.

They are both very close. (I have both of them - and have had them in "consumer-testing" circulation for about 3 years)
They have been in use 7 days a week all this time.
Neither user has reported any failures or problems.

In my opinion: The Solis has the slight edge with the superior (and larger) marine brass boiler.

Brass resists corrosion and retains heat better.
