Rancilio Rocky Grinder rocker switch - 2007/01/19 15:34 Hi all. First time on this forum.

My Rocky grinder quit on me just after the warranty expired. I really like the machine though. I have isolated the problem (I think) to be the rocker switch at the bottom front of the unit. I am having trouble getting a new switch from Rancilio dealers in western Canada (I live in Nelson, BC).

Has anyone else had a problem like this? Or, does anyone know where I can get a new rocker switch?

Re:Rancilio Rocky Grinder rocker switch - 2007/01/20 11:48 Thanks. I went to Espressotec when it first broke and they said they would order one for me. However, they forgot to order it with the rest of their Rancilio parts order, so they said they would do it the next time which would be 3 months later. They forgot to order it again even though I reminded them. I have since given up on that source, and thought there might be a quicker route to get this part. It has been almost a year since my grinder quit and I have not had any follow-through from Espressotec or Mr. Cappucino in Calgary.

Re:Rancilio Rocky Grinder rocker switch - 2007/01/20 12:41 Maybe espressoparts.com also known as home-espresso.com? Does it look like one of these?

Re:Rancilio Rocky Grinder rocker switch - 2007/01/21 10:59 Thank you, but no that is not the switch I need. The switch you showed me is the main power switch on the side of my grinder and it works fine. What needs to be replaced is the pressure sensitive switch on the front left bottom of the machine.
