The Clover - 2006/03/03 03:44 I started my day like I do most days when I get to work..check my usual website..when I clicked on Coffeecrew I was pleasantly surprised to see that Discovery was getting The Clover machine in. Being that its just down the street where I work, its easy for me to swing in on a coffee break and grab a drink.

I was a little his hearted to read that the machine wouldn't be set up until Saturday. Crap.

Well I wondered over there at coffee this morning and was greeted by a crowd of people. Usually, its pretty quiet.

Well there on the back shelf sat The Clover and they had it working. But were they testing it or making coffee with it. I find out that "yes indeed its working and brewing coffee to the public with it" Apparently Sam was pretty excited and was at the shop at an unbeleively early time, and plumbed it in and was waiting for the techie to set it up properly.

I order a cup and not really reading much about the clover I start to realize what everyone it ranting about this machine. Choice the beans you like and it serves it up just for you. YUP I'm getting pretty giddy but nearly as excited as Sam was. He helped me through my choice of bean to brew and got the barista to measure out the beans and start the process of brewing a cup.

One guy is standing around and all he can say is "this i really good. Really really good cofffee" with a big smile "and the machine isn't even set up correctly".

I sip the coffee on the way back to work, smiling and thinking..not bad, not bad at all.
Its not until I get back to work and sit down that I really get a good sense of how great the coffee is.

All I can say, is that if you enjoy your coffee (obviously if you come to this website you do) that you make the time and effort to check out The Clover. You won't be disappointed.

Re:The Clover - 2006/03/03 05:45 Looks like the sun will be out, so I'm hoping to hit "the dump" and mountain bike. I haven't been out since December.
