La Pavoni Professional $475.00 - 2007/10/15 22:31
La Pavoni Professional Espresso/Capucino machine. This machine makes great espressos but its also a work of art to look at. This is a fully manual machine, and requires you to "pull shots" with the lever. It is a labour of love ! What is unique about this machine is that it can produce steam and make coffee at the same time ! Most automatic esspresso machines cannot do this, they make you wait 30-60sec between tasks while the bolier cools down (like the Rancillio Silvia, Saeco Aroma and others). This machine produces lots of steam! You can make 16 double shot espressos with this unit.
In Brand New Condition, I purchased this 2 years ago. No scratches and no rust. Includes 2 Portafilters (Doubles), Stainless Steel Tamper, portofiliter holder, automatic frother and descalling kits. I replaced all the seals and cleaned the piston head this weekend. I also upgraded the pressure-stat ($120.00 Upgrade) so that you can now adjust the boiler pressure, the factory installed one is not adjustable. The Boiler is currently set to 0.7-0.9 Bar. I also upgraded the drip pan from plastic to stainless steel. Original owners manual included, I will also include a PDF of wiring diagram and other technical resources you may need. I will teach the owner how to make consistent espressos and steam silky milk foam for cappuccinos.
There have been many positive reviews for this machine written here: http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews/consumer/lapavoniprofessional
This machine sells new for $870.00 plus tax in Vancouver. Please call 604-759-9582 evenings or 604-412-2877 daytime
