lelit crema amazesI have been using this machine since last August (2004). Sadly, I have only been able to "play" with it about three or four times week for a total of, say, eight to ten shots a week.

This has been a delightfully predictable machine with the only foible being an inconsistent steaming capacity. I have found that the reheating light will come back on, after starting to steam, anywhere from 63°C to 81°C. However, it is also fairly easy to sidestep by stretching the milk for longer or shorter periods as necessary. Essentially, I have enjoyed great success with the Le'Lit.

Last week I cleaned the screen for the first time with cleaner (!) and it hardly needed it. (I do pass water through after every drink). It was easy to remove the screen and I appreciated this in comparison to other horible experiences with other machines.

I anticipate that the first problem I will encounter sometime in the distant future will be replacing the gasket ensuring that there is no leak from the wand. Aside from that I think I may be happily married to this machine for a many, many years to come. (I think there may room for another piece of legislation...)
