Technivorm KBT741 reviewed

Hey everyone - I'm in Calgary, Alberta... and am interested in purchasing the Newco OCS-8 or close second being the Technivorm KBT 741.

Bad news though... I contacted 'This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.', and she has replied:

\"Thanks for the inquiry, but we are no longer carrying the OCS models. I am sorry for any problems that this might cause.\"

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now where am I gonna get it?!?

Anyone have any more Canadian sources for this machine, or even a \"Canadian friendly\" US based online store?

And I wonder if these 'supply' problems indicate that Newco is going to stop making the OCS line? Because if that's the case, I think I'd rather go with the Technivorm after all...

Oughtred Coffee lists the OCS12. Perhaps they could order an OCS8 for you...

I really like the reviews for the Technivorm KB741, but I have since noticed that they have come out with a new model that looks almost identical (except for a rounded tower). The new unit is called the Thermal Moccamaster CD...

Does anyone know anything about this and whether it will be the same quality as teh KB741? I really want to have the best quality, but somewhat prefer the looks of the new Moccamaster...
