Hey Colin: I just wrote my first review/comment on your Home Roasting column...and then became a crew member and read the review of the Bellman. This is identical to my first ever espresso machine that I got about 30 years ago. Your review is spot on...but I never figured out how much coffee/how to pack it/how much water to use. Years of frustrating use of this machine was rewarded when I found that my brother was throwing away his La Pavoni because he'd clogged the frothing steam tube with dried milk. Have been happily pulling shots for 20 years...but today, since my Europiccola is shot...thanks to you, I'm gonna pull out my old \"Bellman\" and head off the withdrawl symptoms.
